Ever Green


This is Kayla Green and she is 13 years old.  She was adopted when she was a baby from Liberia.  I got the chance to interview Green number four for this blog post and these where her answers........

Q1)Is there anything you miss from your country?
A)Yes..I miss the food and being with my friends.

Q2)What was the hardest part about leaving your country?
A)Leaving my parents.

Q3)Did you have any friends in the orphanage?
A)Yes I had a lot.

Q4)What feelings did you first found out you where getting a family?
A)It was exciting and shocking to find out I got a family. 

Q5)What do you think is the strangest thing we do in the USA compared to your country?
A)Most people don’t go around eating spicy food and dancing.

Q6)What was your first impression of your new family?
A)I’m finally here.

Q7)What do you have here in America that you couldn’t live without back in your country?
A)School and being taken care of.

Q8)What was your thoughts when you first walked into your house?
A)It was really pretty and big.

Q9)How have your dreams changed over time?
A)My dreams changed and it made me a better christian.
